Windows System Resource Manager logs accounting data about applications that are managed by:
- The managing policy.
- A policy that is set to profiling.
Accounting data includes details about applications that exceeded the resources that were allocated to them and the changes that the managing policy made. Accounting data is stored in a local accounting database, a remote accounting database on another computer running Windows System Resource Manager, or a SQL database that you specify by using a Data Source Name (DSN).
