You can use the following steps to change the size and location of the Command Pane and the Script Pane. When you open the Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) again, the size and location changes you made will be retained.
To resize the Command Pane
- Pause the pointer on the split line between the Command Pane
and Output Pane.
- When the mouse pointer changes to a two-headed arrow, drag the
border to change the size of the pane.
To move the Command Pane
- To move the Command Pane above the Output Pane, on the Command
Pane bar, click Move Command Pane Up, or in the View
menu, click Command Pane Up.
- To move the Command Pane below the Output Pane, on the Command
Pane bar, click Move Command Pane Down, or in the
View menu, clear Command Pane Up.
- By default, the Command Pane is located below the Output
Pane.
To resize the Script Pane
- Pause the pointer on the split line between the Script Pane and
the other panes.
- When the mouse pointer changes to a two-headed arrow, drag it
to change the size of the pane.
To move the Script Pane
Do one of the following
- To move the Script Pane to the right of the
Command and Output Panes, in the toolbar, click Show Script Pane
Right, or in the View menu, click Show Script Pane
Right.
- To move the Script Pane above the Command and
Output Panes, in the toolbar, click Show Script Pane Up, or
in the View menu, click Show Script Pane Up.
To hide the Script Pane
To hide the Script Pane, on the Script Pane bar, click Hide Script Pane, or in the View menu, clear Show Script Pane.
To display the Script Pane
To display the Script Pane, on the Script Pane bar, click Show Script Pane, or in the View menu, click Show Script Pane.
To maximize the Script Pane
To maximize the Script Pane, on the Script Pane bar, click Show Script Pane Maximized, or in the View menu, click Show Script Pane Maximized.
