UDDI Services require a SQL Server database instance. The UDDI Services Database provides data storage services for a site. The UDDI Services Database also stores all site-wide configuration settings, such as the name of a site, its user group mappings, and all security settings for the site. You can configure the UDDI Services Database component settings by using the UDDI Services Configuration Wizard Custom configuration mode.

Note

Using the UDDI Services Configuration Wizard, you can configure components using Custom mode at any time after installing UDDI Services. You can configure components using Basic mode after initially installing UDDI Services or after using Unconfigure Features in Custom mode. For more information about Basic configuration, see Configure UDDI Services Using Basic Mode. For more information about unconfiguring UDDI Services in Custom mode, see Unconfigure UDDI Services.
