Remote Desktop Services enables organizations to provide access to standard Windows programs from virtually any location, to any Windows device, from the Internet or an intranet. RemoteApp enables you to make programs that are accessed remotely through Remote Desktop Services appear as if they are running on the end user’s local computer. These programs are referred to as RemoteApp programs.
Use RemoteApp Manager to make programs installed on a Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) server available to users as RemoteApp programs. RemoteApp Manager is automatically installed on a computer on which the RD Session Host role service has been installed.
