You can use Share and Storage Management to view and modify volume settings, and to perform maintenance tasks like defragmenting, error checking, and backing up a volume.

To view or modify the properties of a volume |

On the Volumes tab, click the volume for which you want to view or modify properties.

In the Actions pane, click Properties.

Modify settings, as appropriate, and then click OK.

On the Tools tab, select the volume maintenance action that you want to perform.

Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click
