You can use Storage Explorer to access the management portals of a Fibre Channel switch, or you can just view information about these portals, such as IP addresses and portal protocols.
The management portals that can be viewed or accessed using Storage Explorer include:
- Telnet portals
- HTTP portals
- Simple network management protocol (SNMP)

|To access or view the management portals of a Fibre Channel switch|
In Fibre Channel Fabrics, click the Fibre Channel switch whose management portals you want to connect to or view.
To access a management portal on the switch, right-click the switch, and then click the management portal that you want to use.
To view a list of the management portals available for the switch, in the Actions pane, click Properties.
