Use this procedure to uninstall Message Queuing from a single computer. You can re-install Message Queuing at any time from Programs in Control Panel on a computer running Windows® 7 or from Server Manager on a computer running Windows Server® 2008 R2. Uninstalling Message Queuing on Windows 7
To uninstall Message Queuing on Windows 7 |

Open Control Panel.

Click Programs, and then under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.

Click Classic View, double-click Programs and Features, and then in the tasks pane, click Turn Windows Features on or off.

Clear the Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server check box.

Click OK.

When prompted, click OK to restart the computer.

Click Start, click All Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager to display the Server Manager.

Click Remove Features to start the Remove Features Wizard.

Clear the MSMQ check box.

Click Next, and then click Remove.

When prompted, click OK to restart the computer.
Additional considerations
- When uninstalling Message Queuing in a
multidomain environment, wait for Active Directory Domain
Services (AD DS) replication to occur. Also check that the
msmq object for the applicable computer was removed before you
attempt to reinstall Message Queuing on the same computer.
- Uninstalling Message Queuing does not remove
Message Queuing files from the \Windows\System32 and
\Windows\System32\Drivers folders.
