All triggers and rules for triggers created on the local computer are displayed in the details pane of Computer Management, when you select the applicable folder in the console tree.

Viewing or changing properties of triggers and rules for triggers

To view or change properties of triggers and rules for triggers
  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, click Triggers or Rules.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/Triggers/Triggers (or Rules)

  3. In the details pane, right-click the applicable trigger or rule, and then click Properties.

  4. In the <TriggerName> Properties dialog box or <RuleName> Properties dialog box, view or change trigger or rule properties, respectively, as needed. You cannot change trigger or rule names.

Additional considerations

  • To open Computer Management on Windows® 7, click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Manage.

  • To open Computer Management on Windows Server® 2008 R2, click Start, click All Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Computer Management.

  • You cannot change the monitored queue of an existing trigger.
