You cannot delete an individual message from a queue. Instead, you can purge all messages to completely clear the contents of the queue.

Open Computer Management.

In the console tree, right-click Queue messages or the subqueue from which you want to purge messages.

- Computer Management/Services and
Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (such as Public
Queues or Private Queues)/MainQueueName/Queue messages or
SubqueueName
- Computer Management/Services and
Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (such as Public
Queues or Private Queues)/MainQueueName/Queue messages or
SubqueueName

Point to All Tasks, and then click Purge.

Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete all messages in the queue.
Additional considerations
- To open Computer Management on
Windows® 7, click Start, right-click Computer,
and then click Manage.
- To open Computer Management on
Windows Server® 2008 R2, click Start, click
All Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then
click Computer Management.
