You can decide how secure you want the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) virtual server to be and use the security options on the two security tabs to obtain the level of protection needed. Settings on the tabs apply to all domains on the virtual server.

Security

This option designates the user accounts that have operator permissions to run the SMTP service. Operators can configure SMTP virtual server properties.

Access

This option contains settings to require authentication and the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) for all incoming connections. You can also grant access or deny access to specific computers or networks.
