This topic explains how to restart a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) virtual server in Microsoft Management Console.

Procedure

To restart the SMTP virtual server in Microsoft Management Console

  1. Select the SMTP virtual server.

  2. On the Action menu, click Start.

  • SMTP Service Starts but the SMTP Virtual Server Does Not
  • SMTP Snap-in Is Not Displaying in MMC
