Use the options on the Connection dialog box to limit access to the SMTP virtual server by client IP address or domain name. You can grant access to all computers and then make exceptions to this rule by denying access to specific computers. Also, if you deny access to all computers, you still can grant access to specific computers. The following options are available on the Connection dialog box.
- Select which computers may access this virtual server

Select from one of the following options to control access to this virtual server:
- Only the list below Select this option
to deny access to all connections except the specific
IP addresses and domains that you add to the Computers
table.
- All except the list below Select this
option to grant access to all connections except the specific
IP addresses and domains that you add to the Computers
table.
- Only the list below Select this option
to deny access to all connections except the specific
IP addresses and domains that you add to the Computers
table.

The Computers table lists the IP addresses and domains to which you have specifically granted or denied access. The Access column displays either Granted or Denied next to an IP address or domain. The IP Address (Mask) / Domain Name column identifies the IP addresses and domain names to which you have specifically granted or denied access. Select from the following options to modify the Computers table:
- Add Click Add to open the
Computer dialog box and grant access or deny access to a
specific IP address, IP address range, or domain
name.
- Remove Select an entry in the
Computers table and then click Remove to delete that
IP address or domain entry.
- Add Click Add to open the
Computer dialog box and grant access or deny access to a
specific IP address, IP address range, or domain
name.
