Use the Security tab to designate the client accounts that have operator permissions for the SMTP virtual server. Any existing Windows account can be granted access permissions for the virtual server by selecting the account from a list. These permissions can be rescinded by removing the account from the list of SMTP virtual server operators.

The following options are available on the Security tab.

Operators

The display lists the user accounts and security groups that have operator permissions for the SMTP virtual server. Operators can access and configure the SMTP virtual server.

Add

Click Add to open the Select Users or Groups window, where you can select Windows user accounts or security groups to be operators of this SMTP virtual server.

Remove

Select an entry in the Operators list and then click Remove to delete the account from the list of SMTP virtual server operators.
