For your users with Internet Explorer 6, you can use this dialog box in Internet Explorer® Maintenance (IEM) to designate which software publishers and credential agencies are trusted by your organization.

You must be a member of the Administrators group to work with IEM and Group Policy objects (GPOs).
To specify trusted software publishers and credential agencies using IEM |

In IEM, expand Internet Explorer Maintenance.

In the left pane, click Security, and then in the right pane, double-click Authenticode Settings.

Click Import current Authenticode Security information to use the settings from your computer to preset your users' settings.

To change the settings you are importing, click Modify Settings. This opens the Trusted Publishers tab in the Certificates dialog box.

Edit the settings as needed.

Select the Enable trusted publisher lockdown check box to prevent your users from adding another trusted publisher while browsing the Internet.
Note It is still possible for your users to add a trusted publisher directly, but you can prevent this using Administrative Templates in Group Policy.
