You use the Create File Screen dialog box to create new file screens, which allow you to block certain files from being saved on a volume or in a folder tree. A file screen affects all folders in the designated path. You can create a custom file screen or derive a new file screen from an existing template. We recommend deriving file screens from templates. This simplifies the management of your file screens because you can automatically update all file screens that are based on a specific template by editing that template.
