You can sort any set of events that you are currently viewing by a single event property.

Start Event Viewer

In the console tree, click the event log, custom view, or saved log that you want to sort.

Click the column heading you want to sort by.
Additional Considerations
- To reverse the sort order, click the column
heading a second time.
- When a log is archived, the sort order is not
saved.
