You can customize how Event Viewer displays events by selecting only properties you are interested in viewing.

To show or hide event properties
  1. Start Event Viewer

  2. In the console tree, select an event log, custom view, or saved log.

  3. On the View menu, click Add/Remove columns.

  4. In the Add/Remove Columns dialog box, select the event properties you want to show from the Available columns list box and click Add. Select the event properties you want to hide from the Displayed columns list box and click Remove.

  5. Click OK.

Additional Considerations

  • Property visibility is retained between sessions.

  • You cannot hide the Level event property.
