To change a user’s primary group using Active Directory Administrative Center |

To open Active Directory Administrative Center, click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Administrative Center.
Note Another way to open Active Directory Administrative Center is to click Start, click Run, and then type dsac.exe.

In the navigation pane, select the node that contains the user account whose primary group you want to change.

In the management list, right-click the user whose primary group you want to change, and then click Properties.

In the Member Of section, click the group that you want to set as the user's primary group, and then click Set Primary Group.
