Use these procedures to open the DirectAccess Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in.

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To open the DirectAccess snap-in by using Server Manager

1. To start Server Manager, click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

2. Expand Features, and then click DirectAccess.

To open the DirectAccess snap-in as a stand-alone console

• Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click DirectAccess Management.

To open the DirectAccess snap-in from the Windows shell

• Click Start, type damgmt.msc, and then press ENTER.
