If more than one user or process is modifying an authorization store, you will not see changes immediately in all instances of the Authorization Manager console. This occurs because the Authorization Manager console keeps a cached copy of the authorization store in memory.
Two commands are available to synchronize the view seen in the Authorization Manager console: refresh and reload.
- The refresh command synchronizes the console
view with the cached copy.
- The reload command synchronizes the cached
copy with the actual authorization store, and synchronizes the
console view with the new cached copy.
Any account that can run the Authorization Manager console can complete this task.
Refresh the Authorization Manager console |
-
In the console tree, right-click the item that you want to refresh, and then click Refresh.
Reload an authorization store |
-
In the console tree, right-click the name of the authorization store, and then click Reload.
